Here's a few things I dislike about this book. 1.) Not all of the stickers are thoroughly cut through. They tear easily with trying to get them off the backing just because of the lack of cutting. You have to use a scissors. 2.) The pictures are not perforated, I can live with that. However, the sticker pages are not perforated and you can't remove them for easy use unless you just rip them out of the book. 3.) Multiple design stickers are printed on one page. There should be 1 page of stickers (or 2 if needed) for each picture, not stickers for multiple pictures on 1 page. I bought 2 of these books, each one different. We've already used some of one (and some pages just had to be thrown away due to the stickers not cut correctly) so I can't return it. But you can bank on it that the second one will be returned. Appearance alone, one would think this is a good book, well, it's not. Save your $$$ because it can't be returned!!! What a deal...
I'm not proud to say it, but I am a "sticker by number" connoisseur. I had the highest hopes for this but the stickers are not perforated enough. I tried the first one and this is the result. You can see where I had to pull it apart. (And I'm like really good.) Don't spend your money.
I love using these puzzles in my class. I thought doing the animals would be great for my students. Epic fail! Not because they don't like the puzzles, but because the puzzles are poorly made. They aren't cut all the way through and you can't remove a sticker without ripping part of it. Even using an exacto knife to cut out the pieces, it still looks so messy! I"m very disappointed!
The stickers don't remove easily from the backing, my daughter got very frustrated and had to cut some out. She hasn't finished the sticker book because of it. We have purchased other brands of paint by sticker books that are better quality. If they fixed the sticker issue this book would be great!
Cute pictures and lots of color. Some of the stickers missed getting cut all the way through which is a problem; had to try to cut them with an x-acto knife. There are lots of pages and the spiral binding helps. I prefer the harder ones, but the easy ones are okay. I would buy it again.
The size of the stickers are fantastic. There is a good variety of shapes and sizes. So far, none look to be too small. Some do great with detail work, but I need something a little larger and more geared for beginners and intermediate-level hobbyists. The spiral bound feature is very helpful as well. I have not run across any of the issues others have mentioned. Maybe a new printing batch? Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.
This sticker book is amazing! Not your typical kids stickers. The numbered stickers are little and go on the corresponding numbered spots on the actual picture. The colors of the stickers are beautiful, and older kids (as well as adults) can produce a work of art. The completed pictures could actually be framed, the pictures are on heavy cardstock paper, and the books are thick. I got five of them for each of my older children, and I am so excited to give them this Christmas. I would even enjoy creating a fun page for myself. The giraffe and zebra pictures are especially wonderful and rather complex, but there are some easier pictures.
My 10 year old daughter ordered this with her Christmas money and absolutely loves the book. It is fun to complete the pictures and they look great when they are finished. However, we are missing the page of stickers for picture #25. The blank picture is in the book, but in the back the sticker pages skip from 24 to 26. Very disappointed that she couldn't complete this picture.
